Where awareness meets action.
The Jewish Climate Trust came to us with a question at the heart of the climate crisis: how do you translate awareness into action? The brief was to design a philanthropic guide on climate change – a printed report and a companion website – that could move people from concern to commitment. We chose not to lead with urgency. Instead, we turned the gaze toward what stands to be lost. The visual language draws from Romantic art – airy, quiet, introspective – creating space for the reader to sit with the weight of the moment before being asked to respond.
Designing for reflection.
Working across print and web, we built a cohesive system that breathes differently in each format. The printed guide carries the full depth of the narrative, while the website distills it into focused moments of meaning. Rather than compress the content, we treated the web version as a different kind of encounter with the same story. Illustration, typography, and restraint do the heavy lifting – a visual vocabulary that holds both grief and hope without resolving the tension between them.
